Aya vi Atlantis Ayanami-rei-14

Hair that is short, bright, and small, ending just a little above her shoulders. With the light texture of her sparkling blue hair, it defines her rounded, dark brown eyes which can alter her toughened expression into that of a child's. In her pale pigment, it shows that she isn't one to be in the daylight much, a testimony to her living under the Ocean.

Her body is slender, attractive and in shape, constantly training her body. Aya's facial structure is very strong, giving her high and defined cheek bones. There is however, fault in her body. Along her back and shoulders are scars from her many assassination attemps and fights, including having gash marks from daggers.

Normally Aya wears relatively short clothes, being of a watery world. However, during battles, she wears her Atlantean Battle Armor (see picture above). A pair of brown high-heeled sandals will find themselves attached to her feet.

Personality: Aya is a very introverted woman. She dislikes most social situations, but she can be two faced. Most of the time she will pretend to be very cheery and kind hearted, in all honest reason, to avoid any conflict. Most of the time, she will not go the extra mile. Aya will do what is necessary and nothing more.

It is very hard for Aya to find herself caring for another person, especially Land Dwellers, apart from the care she has for her Atlantian subjects as being their Queen. She can be prejudiced towards Land Dwellers (have only trusted one so far).

Being brought up as Atlantean Royalty and then having several assassination attempts on her life as soon as she came into power, trust and affection were not something she was prone to having in the past, so she doesn't feel a necessity to achieve those things now. Aya originally didn't have any hopes either to find love, happiness, nor affection, but she has started to doubt those feelings now after her return from the Land.

Aya's only goal in her life is to eliminate those who threaten to hurt the Atlantian Empire, and she will go to all ends to achieve that goal.

Powers/Weapons:

Amphibious Physiological Adaptation: Aya's body is specially developed for underwater conditions, granting her specialized blood circulation to withstand freezing temperatures and highly developed vision to see clearly even in murky ocean depths. This hybrid physiology means he can survive indefinitely underwater or on land, though he would still need occasional contact with water to survive.

  • Superhuman Strength: Like all Atlanteans, Aya is superhumanly strong but her physical strength is greater than that of any other known member of his race, simply because she is the Queen. While Aya is immersed in water, or is not severely dehydrated, she is capable of effortessly lifting far in excess of 50 tons. However, on dry land, her Super Strength decreases until it completely diminishes, leaving her with the average strength of a woman of her build, height and weight who engages in moderate regular exercise.

  • Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Aya's body are much harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of normal human beings and, being of Royal Atlantean Blood, also most other Atlanteans. Aya can withstand tremendous impact forces, high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, blows from powerful superhumans and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.

  • Aquatic Healing: If she was somehow injured, Aya's body can heal damaged tissue faster and much more extensively than a human or most Atlanteans. Aya's accelerated healing is at it's peak while she is immersed in water and does diminish the longer she is out of contact with water or if she is completely dry.

  • Amphibious Breathing: Like all Atlanteans, Aya can breathe indefinitely underwater due to having gills located behind his ears.

  • Aquatic Telepathy: Aya possesses a telepathic rapport with all forms of marine life. She is able to mentally communicate with most forms of marine life and can mentally persuade them to do her bidding.

  • Seduction: Like most Atlantean females, Aya involuntarily releases a special pheromone in her breath. This pheromone is used by Atlantean females to attract Atlantean males in order to reproduce. However, it was later discovered that while this pheromone, in the case of Atlantean Males simply initiated a general amount of interest in the female, when it was used on Human males, it drove them into seduction almost to the point of obsession. Since then, it has been an Atlantean's most useful weapon against Land Dwellers.

History:

Aya was born the Princess of Atlantis, rising up to the throne at her father's death. Quickly, she set out to become one of the best rulers in Atlantean History. Originally, she was underestimated because she was the first female to ever rule Atlantis, and originally faced several assination attempts at her life by sexist generals.

Surviving them all and proving her worth to the Atlantian Nation, she ruled the Lost City with justice, equality and liberty not seen or heard in the reign of the rulers before her time. In her reign, Science and Technology prospered and the Atlantians literally became the most technologically advanced Nation on Earth.

Then the time came when Americannia came into being and started rapid conquests throughout the World. Fearing for the safety of her people and the Oceans, Aya launched an all out assault against all Land Dwellers that were in the Ocean, claiming the Oceans for herself and her people, preventing all fishing and other water-related industries in the World from working.

It was only then that both the Union of China and Americannia signed a pact with Atlantis to allow trade of seawater and sea-related food items to exist between the three Nations. Whatever the case, it had become clear that Aya, having conquered 71% of the Earth, was now the most influencial person on the Planet.

Aya paid a little visit to the land, and discovered that land dwelling men seemed to fall for her as if she was a goddess. After a little research she discoved her Seduction ability. During this time, the then believed to be dead founder of the Crimson Vindicate, Lelouch Aitchison, also met up with her.

Apparently, the Lelouch's mind was so sharp that he could resist the effect of her pheromone. She developed an interest in him and the other returned the feelings somewhat, but the relationship never matured Aya's duty as Queen came in the way of her choosing a partner; she had to return to Atlantis due to a rebellion that had arisen.

Quenching the rebellion of Atlantis, Aya now dares not her leave Kingdom again in fear of another one arising. She still longs to meet with Lelouch again, but has noticed that the world has gone relatively quiet. She realizes that its just the calm before the storm, and she is ready to sacrifice her personal interest in order to hold her Empire together firmly and prepare for a war, if by any chance the battle between the other three Supernovas would reach Atlantis.
